Advice needed, AVC three stone

Hi All!

Thinking of an AVC flanked by two gemstones. I'm going for a K,L avc .. I saw a ring with 2 beautiful spinels (blood red) however I fear the red pulls out too much of the yellow in the stone already.

Can someone please advice on some nice looking gem sides? everyday wear, and I'm thinking that nice matte gold JBG makes with nice double claw prongs on all stones.

Chrono has a GORGEOUS AVC three stone with rubies. Lemme see if I can find the thread.

ETA: my bad, they're spinels and probably the ring you were referring to. The yellow gold setting pulls the warmth out of the L AVC so if you want to keep it looking white, I would set it in platinum. Flank it by 2 blue sapphires and you are set.

Sidestones are 5 x 5 mm
Ring size is 4.5
