I have a gold piece of jewelry here from a watch, on both sides of the fAce of the watch has a piece that connects well I have both sides and its stamped 10k and the letter k and then a. Check mArk I think also on the face of it there is a green stone, is it an emerald ??

Doesn't look like it, but its hard to tell from the pictures.

looks like jade to me..

They could be highly treated/dyed Emeralds. You sometimes see huge slabs like this.

Take it to your local jeweller and ask them to test them for you.
