UPDATE:
I had the vender Rene hold on to my funds until I knew for sure that I didn't want to order anything from him.
Yesterday I found another stone that I decided to keep and emailed Rene that I wanted my funds wired back to me.
Rene promptly replied, and wired the funds back that same day. 24hours later they're in my bank account.
Even better, he wired back more than what I was expecting. So I have NO reservations about doing business with Rene at allsapphires.com !
Also, his son Tom will be opening a brick-and-mortar store in LA next year, so look out for it. His prices should be very competitive!
