HELP! Antique Pear Shape

Hello everybody,

I would say that I am an advanced beginner when talking about round brilliant diamonds, but I have no clue when it comes to fancy shaped diamonds. Anybody who knows about pear shaped diamonds please comment on where I can learn more about them and what is your opinion on this one (more explanation the better)?

It looks to be a lovely stone. I like the shape and the open culet. Also, looks like it does not have a bow-tie... yeah!
Normally I would want an aset with a fancy cut like a pear but I dont believe Grace does those. Next best thing would be to
order it and live with it for a few days. Check it out in all different lighting conditions to see if it's bright and puts out fire.
(it wont put out fire in all conditions). JBG has a 3 day return period...so you would have to play with it a lot in 3 days and
decide if its performing the way you want.

In general it looks to be a nice stone and certainly has great finger coverage!

Thank you for the replies. I live in the tristate area. How hard would it be to find a local jeweler that would be willing to take an ASET image of the diamond for me? Does anyone know of such paid service?
