Okay, got the ring on Thursday, and proposed about 3 hours later. She loves it!!!

Special thanks to Martin at USACerted and to Victor for making this beauiful ring. Both had excellent service and I would recommend them to anybody. I was only able to find two lousy pictures of this design, and Victor worked wonders with them, to produce this:

Centre stone is a 1 carat, F, VS2. Sidestones are between E-F and VVS1-VVS2.

I was originally going to go with a 6-prong, RB, in a claissic Tiffany setting, but after carefully listening to subtle hints and looking at a few magazines together, I realized she wanted a princess. I wasn''t sure what setting I''d get her, but when I saw pics of this setting, I just knew it was the one.

After I gave her the ring, I showed her other settings I was considering, and she was happy I went with this one.

Thanks again to everyone for the great compliments and well wishes. If it weren''t for everyone elses posts and information on PS, I would probably never have ended up with something so beautiful. Seeing pics of all the other rings on here was definitely a great motivator.

What is the size of the melee (channel stones) and how wide is the shank? It''s beautiful and I''m looking at having a ring designed. Mine wouldn''t be like this but I love the width of the ring.
