Package not delivered... has this ever happened to you?

I just saw this thread...I'm so pleased for you ! It's such a worry ! Especially when it's something so expensive. You poor thing ! But , a happy ending ! Wonderful..and they are very very pretty !

I've had such trouble lately with deliveries from America and even within Australia. Things seem to fall off the tracking radar. Anytime I have to ship something to the States that is of any value I send it by a private carrier. And I always insure whatever I'm sending.

I think next time I order something I won't bother with the tracking tool. It was just so stressful for nothing.

Yes, this happened to me recently. I ordered something handmade from Canada, and it took 6 months for it to finally be delivered to the USA. Air mail, ha! After two months, the vendor made me another one and mailed it to me and it arrived in 2 weeks.

Then 6 months later, the original package arrived. I let the vendor know.

It sounds like yours was either misdelivered or stolen. It should have needed to be signed for, but I don't know if that applies once it crosses the border.
