Ricezo - I just noticed this question - Pondslime is a term that is used for the brownish-bronzed-goldy colour that can splash across some pearls . I see it more on the purple toned ones or the white ones .. not sure why. Some people love the 'down and dirty' look that it gives the pearls .. others don't like it. It's personal. I'll see if I can find a link to a good photo of an obvious Pondslime pearl.. sometimes it's not quite as obvious .. like on the darker pearls.

Just to be safe , as trade people are not supposed to post photos etc . If you go to the other forum and search " pondslimes what are they?" there is a thread with photos .
