Blue Ribbon Ring 6.10ct Untreated Sapphire Three Stone

As many of you may have guessed, blue is my favorite color. 4 years ago I had Madame Blueberry made. While I love my blueberry I longed for her to be just a touch larger a more towards the cobalt color. As PS'ers often do I debated the need for an upgrade, all while hunting for one. To avoid this becoming a TLR, I will keep it simple and say I have found the perfect sapphire ring.....for now.


Platinum Ring containing 6.10ct Unheated Ceylon Sapphire certified by the AGL 11.14x8.58x7.04
Flanked by Two Trilliant Cut Diamonds 1.50tcw G/VS
Ring Size: 5.75

I was very lucky in that one of the vendor photos made it look like there was a scratch on the stone which was actually an issue with the image. The vendor very kindly sent me additional photos and answered all of my questions. This ring is truly the cobalt color of my dreams.

PS is a wonderful place to learn. This sapphire is what my friend CFlutist would call milk of magnesia blue. That happens to be my favorite color for sapphires, but they are many and varied and all are worth enjoying.

I should have mentioned this earlier. I purchased the ring from Vivid Diamonds and worked with Jay Taylor. They are responsive to questions and very quick with service. I purchased the ring yesterday, had them size it up to a 6 1/8, and they had the sizing done with a fabulous polishing job and shipped out to me the same day. The ring arrived with all of its paperwork today and I could not be more pleased with the transaction.
