As nice as I have ever seen. Close to correct. Bit more green, bit more red in real life but very close.

Mine and I-phone pictures, only cropped. As most know getting the color to photograph perfectly is next to impossible in my experience.

Wow, I would've thought it was a Brazilian. SG: how would you describe the tone? Is it medium dark to dark as most alex seem to be? It doesn't look that dark in the photos, but then the lighting in the photos (particularly the daylight) looks quite bright.

Bright indirect daylight in the first picture, 40 watt incandescent bulb in a lamp with a shade in the second picture.

Looks very nice; it's not easy to capture the colour change. Any direct/straight down views of the alexandrite?

Best I could get mix light faced. Really just put up the pictures because it was unusual capturing the green phase.

I don't care for alexandrite, but at least yours seems to have close to a 100% color change. Enjoy it.

It does seem to be dark in tone. Still that is for sure the nicest Tanzanian alex I have seen! Great colorways, excellent color change percentage and a large carat size for an alex of such quality. I would definitely get that puppy insured as whether or not you paid a lot for it, its worth a good sum!
