as having had a pear shape ering for the first 10 years I was married you should wear the point facing away from you so when you show off your gorgous ring the admirer can see the full on pear

Ah! Thank you so much! I've been flipping it around both ways so I can enjoy the different details on each side but I wondered in general which way shows it off best.

So I recently inherited some gems ... and one is a .56 ct 5.26 x 5.26 x 3.24 Fancy Pink ... nothing visible with the naked eye and even difficult to see with a loop. Its maybe a brown or redish pink, slightly dark. I'm traveling so I wont be able to get it appraised for a while, but was wondering if anyone had any idea about what it might sell for?
