What is your Fast Food weakness?

I hardly ever eat fast food, I'm talking about once a month if that.....well, today I passed by Jack in the Box at lunch time AFTER I ate a healthy lunch of grilled chicken and broccoli...and bought 3 eggrolls, and DEVOURED it. I'm not ashamed to say, even though I'm Chinese....JACK IN THE BOX HAS THE BEST EGGROLLS!

Pizza for me too. I have to have it at least once a week. Usually, I order from Dominos. If I'm feeling slightly "healthy", I'll order a thin crust with green peppers, red peppers, and onions.

First of all I have never been to a jack in the box but after your description and high praise of their egg rolls jaysonsmom I am going to have to go to one and try them!

Reading your question makes me very sad because I realize I don't have any fast food weakness to the point I *need* to have any fast food. I seriously cannot remember when I last stepped foot into a fast food restaurant let alone ate any fast food. Mainly because I am careful of what I eat due to my health issues so maybe it would be different if that wasn't a concern for me.

But if I could eat any fast food I wanted it would be Nathan's French Fries.
Last time I had any (and that was just a fry or 2 from my dh) was in Coney Island Brooklyn at the original Nathan's (outside) in 2000 I think. Pretty sad.


Cannot remember the last time I had pizza. Love pizza too but it doesn't love me.

Missy, OMG, I just cooked up half a bag of Nathan's French Fries! I was going to ask you if you'd ever had them (location/location/location) but I thought "Nah, not *Missy*, she doesn't cheapen her body with fast food!"

When I was in college there was a Nathan's in the food court and I loved those fries!

Now I like Carl's Jr fried zucchini! YUM! In terms of burgers, fast food variety, I think Carl's has the best burgers. You can get them made with hormone and antibiotic free beef too.

I don' think "my" fast food patterns have changed much...but if there were good corn fritters somewhere I might have some!

McDonalds Filet of Fish Sandwich. I've even eaten them in Rome and Israel!

A close second - Panda Express's Orange Chicken. It's so obviously bad for me that it would be easier to avoid - except that I can pair it with their steamed vegetable and feel all righteous over the veggies and conveniently forget about the deep fried, sugar-coated chicken!

Shamrock. Shakes. Thank goodness they're seasonal.

Also, In-n-Out cheeseburger, animal style, with a chocolate shake. Once and only once any time I head out west.

Pizza!
I am lucky enough to live within delivery distance of a real Italian pizzeria and I have them on speed dial. The delivery is faster than Domino's, so I guess it is fast food, but I consider it real food. Every tenth pie is free. They are so Italian that they close for three weeks every summer so the founding family can visit the ancestral homeland. My special weakness is a large pie with pepperoni. I add a few dabs of anchovy paste at home. I keep the leftovers wrapped in aluminum foil in the freezer and reheat them for 15-20 minutes at 400 F. Even crispier the second time around.
(If I am out and about and need sustenance, I get some Popeye's Fried Chicken with hot sauce.)

Yes, Jack in the box has lots of stuff beyond burgers and fries. They have the greasy hang-over tacos (my husband's fav) and teriyaki chicken bowls!

So my weaknesses.
McDonald's fries (which, due to politics I have been not eating).
In and Out burgers
Chickfila chicken (which I have not eaten in 10 years due to politics of the owner, but still, its tempting).
El Pollo Loco chicken.

Wow so many fast food options I've never heard of!? Wish we had a good takeaway hot-dog place. I just love them.

In Australia there is pretty much the big 4 burger places - Maccas, Burger King, KFC, Hungry Jacks then a few pizza options - Domino's, Eagle Boys, Crust, Pizza Capers (my favourite!), I don't even see Pizza Hut around much these days. Of course there is the "healthy option" of Subway which is taking over everything. Then there is always a local Chinese place which seems to outlast every other shop in town...
