Should all halo's have tilts?

I am thinking of putting my emerald cut in a halo and have been doing some research, should a halo on an emerald cut have a tilt as well?

Personal preference. The slight tilt allows the wearer to be able to appreciate the diamond melees when worn (the wearer usually sees the profile more often) instead of seeing metal from the side.

I think a slight tilt gives you a more '360' look, and is the best of both worlds. Can see it from above and from the side. But as said above, totally personal preference.
