These are black diamond meteorite pieces.
Notice the carbon matrix in black/white photo
The negative photo shows crystals in blue in cross sections.
They can be polished down to brilliance.

this makes me think of a muppet show sketch... DIAMONDS....IN....SPAAAAAAAACE....
quite interesting. how did you determine they came from meteorites?

Meteorite slices can be quite fascinating with their patterns. Unfortunately, they tend to oxidize and rust as they're mainly iron. I've seen watch faces and rings made with meteorite with similar patterns as the one I attached below.

Black diamonds not native on earth. They can only come from meteorites. Got to do research, pale!
