Hi all! Looking for some insight, found this diamond on Ritani after utilizing the pricescope search:

https://www.ritani.com/diamonds/round-diamond-2-23-Carat-H-color-AGSL-certified/D-93SV03

AGSL cert:
https://p1.a-ritani.com/uploads/diamonds/certificate/image/2424015/D-93SV03.png

Stats:
AGS ideal cut, symmetry, Polish
H color
VS2
2.236 ct.

My concerns are the feathers on the table, should I be worried about these inclusions with this AGS report?

They don't seem visible and the stone appears eye clean in the provided video posted by Ritani.

The price seems too good, wondering if I'm missing something. Looking for some reassurance/honest advice!

Thanks!

Feathers are at edge of this stone and clouds are under the table. The crown height is only 33.2 but cut grade is an AGS000.

Should I be concerned about the clouds affecting this stones appearance even at a vs2 clarity? Stone has an accompanying ideal light score per AGS...also should I discount to a certain extent the feather in the periphery from a durability perspective since it's not on the surface?

Thank you for your input!

I would doubt the inclusions are an issue - it does not say the clarity is based on clouds not shown or anything else alarming, but I'd get it looked at by a qualified appraiser to make sure the feathers don't pose a durability issue (unlikely).

It is a 60/60 stone, so it will likely have lower colored light return / higher white light return than a more traditionally cut stone, and it has quite narrow arrow shafts. It scored a 0 in light return, so it does have good performance, it just has a different flavor.

Would the narrowed arrow field affect the stones fire and scintillation or am I over analyzing this and I should be assured that it performs well based on the AGS000 grade?

Wanted to stay under 25k for the center stone in the 2 ct. Range and this seems like a good combination of cut size and color.

Initially was thinking G-H color based on conversations with my girlfriend 2+ carats GIA triple ex or AGS000 and this stone really stood out to me...

With those parameters does this seem like a good fit?? Thank you everyone!

You may want to look at the just under 2 ct mark - there is a significant price jump at the magic 2 ct point, and a 1.9x ct will face up the same size at a significant savings. Just did a quick look and these are some of the stones you can get in your size / carat range.
