Thank you for posting the article, kenny. As you may know, we have an in-house expert on the Hermès Birkin bag. Madam Bijoux has been collecting them for many years. I do not know if her collection rivals that of Victoria Beckham or Kim Kardashian in number, but I would bet that it is more tasteful!

I had no idea it was named after an actress.
Good on her getting Hermès to make an annual charitable contribution in lieu of paying her for the use of her name.

I have 7 Birkins so far (nowhere near Victoria B's league), and I don't care for the exotic skins. My favorite Hermes bag is the Constance.

I am a bag lady, but no Birkin for me (yet). For now, I have to be happy with a couple of reversible Hermes H belts and a Clic-Clac enamel H bracelet. I will likely own a Birkin some day and I go back and forth between a neutral color (like brown or black) or the iconic orange. I wouldn't mind having a vintage piece. The sad part is that many people where I live wouldn't even know what it was, but I would, so I guess that's all that matters

Madam Bijoux - these pictures are beautiful -- and I appreciate the jewelry shots with the handbags. Someday, I'd love to have a Kelly - any color. For now, I have a teeny tiny Hermes scarf collection that I have been enjoying. In fact, today, I'm wearing the Fall 2014 Mythiques Phoenix 90. You have such beautiful jewelry and handbags, thank you so much for sharing them with us. And, please, more pictures!!!

I have a fascination for examples of the best of anything.
I have a friend who does woodworking and he has a zillion dollars invested in the finest powertools from Germany Switzerland etc.
I love to go over to gawk and drool.

Unfortunately this is the extent of my Hermès collection:
35 years ago in Europe I bought a bar of Hermès soap.
I still remember that heavenly scent.
I used it very very slowly so I could enjoy it as long as possible.
I'm not joking.

Hello and thanks, Dancing Fire. I use the bags when I go to plays and concerts, which is just about every week. It's a rare week when I don't use any of the bags.
