Jeff White yellow emerald sapphire project

Just wanted to share my newest project ring. I purchased Jeff White's beautiful unheated yellow emerald cut sapphire a few months ago. I can honestly say that my photos do not do this stone justice at all. It has a silky sleepiness in some light and a bright glow in others. It's a pure yellow that tends to reflect surrounding colors. My mounting was yet another e-Bay find and is a platinum JBStar with trapezoids, princess and rounds. It was a match made in heaven IMHO.

Pregcurious, It was honestly a fluke that I found it as the seller only stated it was a platinum ring, but as soon as I saw it and the seller confirmed the measurements, I knew it had to be mine!

Smitcompton, Thank you so much! I've been looking for the perfect yellow for years and after speaking with Jeff this one hit all my marks. I like a sleepy and silky sapphire that has that unheated glow. And while this stone has to be one of the most challenging I've ever tried to photo, the real life visual is indeed a treasure
