I noticed on Tuesday that the vision in my right eye was blurry with distances. It came on all of a sudden along with a mild barely there headache. It was still bothering me on Wednesday and seemed to be getting worse. I made an appointment with an ophthalmologist. After three hours of testing they have given me a diagnosis of "papilledema". I only have it on one side which has me fearing the worse, some kind of tumor. I've had a nuerofibromatosis tumor removed from my knee when I was a teenager and I'm so scared I have something similar on my optic nerve. I've never faced anything this scary before. Whew. I'm seeing neurology today so wish me luck and happy non-tumor thoughts!
