shud i buy this stone or shud i get a better color for little more money but smaller carat weight (a 1.75 H color vs2) for example

i havent looked at the stone in person yet but the website has a 90day no questions asked return policy in case i dont like it

It looks like a gorgeous stone! Color is very personal. I have had F-I color diamonds and I can see the difference, but it doesn't bother me. G-H would probably be my sweet spot, but my current diamond is I color because that was the highest color they had in the size range I wanted. VVS is certainly not necessary, as VS1 is extremely clean and VS2 is usually eyeclean, but it is not raising the price terribly on an I color stone. I'd rather have an H VS1, but you probably would have to drop in size a good bit to match that price. The price is excellent.

Looks good to me and that is a good price for it. Color is personal preference. If you've seen it in person and are ok with it then that is an awesome diamond for you.
