In case anyone is interested - I took the ring back to the jeweler to have no prongs put on it - they were bugging and taking away from the sapphire. I should get it tomorrow.

Well, they didn't change the prongs. There was a miscommunication. I think I'm just going to keep it like it is for a while and appreciate it then maybe I'll get the prongs changed.

But I did want to share this picture I just took of it. I'm indoor and it's incredible difficult to not move so it's not that clear, but the color - it's so great and very true to life.

Wow, what a nice surprise to see this topic bumped. the setting is my original ering setting. I got it at XIV Karat in Beverly Hills. Funny that this came up again since its currently away getting its prongs revamped. Very exciting.

It's just lovely! I was wandering around the eye candy thread and saw it there, and I just had to ask.

Do you know the total carat weight, or size of the diamonds? I've seen one on the internet that's vaguely similar, and your diamond size is perfect, so I was wondering what it might be.

I think, when the prongs are redone, you should start a new thread!

That is everything I want in a sapphire. What is traditionally darker than optimum, in the hands of a gem artist, becomes the new optimum, in my very biased opinion. Congrats on a gorgeous stone and gorgeous ring, and mega-kudos to Mr. White's cutting.
