There's one other round brilliant that i"m waiting on the pic and ASET for. I'll post it when it comes in tomorrow.

I am also looking at a cushion due to the fact that it's about $5,000 less than the round brilliants. The ASET doesn't look that great but I'm a newbie so I'd appreciate your thoughts!

2.6 Ct K VS2

Is this for you or for someone else? If it is for someone else, what shape do they prefer?

I prefer the round but am open to the cushion as well as other shapes such as emerald and rectangular radiant.

I want to pull the trigger soon-- are there any of these diamonds which are absolute no's or are they all pretty much the same?
Is the rectangular stone's ASET pretty terrible or not too bad? Thanks everyone in advance for your advice!

Eliminate the cushion and the SI2 stone off the bat. Cushions are deeper than rounds and can have a smaller diameter because of it (plus that is just not a good cushion and would show the K color a lot). I'd also eliminate the round K color stones. I'd stick with J or higher for an engagement ring. Let me go back and see what is left!

I'd rather have the #1 stone, I color. #2 has that inclusion right in the center and it would bug me. All of those ASETs appear to be computer generated and are not actual ASETs of the stone.

But are you the WEARER, or for someone else?

What are the inclusions (in order off the lab report) of the last SI2? I do really like that stone.

I'd eliminate the cushion too, unless you ADORE cushions and want one.
