How much would it be to resize a Tiffany and Co three stone platinum ring from a 4.5 to 8.5 I am considering buying this second hand but was wondering how much it would cost I'm thinking since its such a big size difference would it be good to only get sized at tiffany's? Its a 1ct total weight .50 ct and .25 on each side.

Given that you are sizing up 4 sizes, which is a lot, I would ask a bench jeweller whether it is possible to do this safely first. Pricing will vary based on your location (city size and cost of living).

I would ask a Tiffany service manager in advance of your purchase if they can do the sizing without compromising the integrity of the mount and all its hallmarks. If they can do it, its worth having the piece re-registered and serviced/sized in your name, for a nominal fee. I would only allow Tiffany to work on it.
