Hola!

My girlfriend has told me she wants a round diamond between the .6 and .75 category. I have read enough forums on PS to be dangerous but not enough to be anywhere as knowledge as you folks, that is why I am enlisting your help!

My budget is anything under $2500(diamond itself)
Color: Willing to go as low as I (That's not too low, right?)
Cut: Ideal Cut only (I've learned that from all of you :) )
Clarity: VS2 or better. Not that there isn't great diamonds with SI1, but going VS2 eliminates the possibility of something seen from the naked eye.

It's going to be put in a Tiffany band.

Here are my two choices: True Hearts Collection .61, I Color, VS1 from James Allen

The next is from White Flash - it's an ACA, .641, I Color, VS2

I did the HCA tool and both are clearly under 2. Will their be much of a difference between the two?

Help me!!

Thanks!

Thank you for the reply JulieN. I requested the ASET and they told me they would have it to me in less than 24 hours so I will post that as soon as I receive it.

I would like to go as big as I can while staying in that 2,200 to 2,500 dollar budget. So that .74 is more appealing to me than the other two that I posted.

Any other suggestions out there. $2,400 Round Cut Diamond, Minimum of I color and VS2, SI1 if it was perfectly eye clean, with an excellent cut??

I really like the size of that B2Cjewels one. They just sent me the ASET: here it is below

How does that ASET look? Does it look like a good diamond? (I have no idea on what one should look like)!

Thank you!

I had a customer service rep talk to the gemologist about this diamond...he said that there is a "Very very slight brown tinge to it" he assured me when mounted on a setting would be colorless and is a spotless eye-clean diamond. It's about the diamond below.

This makes me pretty nervous about this diamond. It is safe to buy, or should I just go with a Whiteflash or James Allen???

Please do let me know your opinion, I am such a novice at this, and I would like to make the purchase rather soon so I can start planning the proposal.

Thanks!

The idea of the brown tinge would bother me. I would take the WF unless something else comes along.
