#TBT 10-year anni upgrade - 2.76 ct transitional in Julia setting

So, PS got me into the old cuts a couple of years ago, when I scored my (first) 10-year upgrade a little early: [URL='https://www.pricescope.com/community/threads/yes-to-n-o-oec.177724/........']https://www.pricescope.com/community/threads/yes-to-n-o-oec.177724/..........[/URL]. As much as I loved the ring, the setting wasn't totally "me", but didn't want to separate the stone from it, and I was torn between OEC and MRB faceting for my forever ring. Well, a few months ago, a friend sent me a picture that Erica at Love Affair Diamonds had posted, of a transitional cut, 2.76 cts, GIA K VS1, 9 mm diamond, and I fell in love. Aspects of old and new, a few shades whiter than what I had, a bit bigger (the dang PS GTG had me trying on all these massive rocks!)... Had it set in a platinum, 8-prong Julia setting with full-cut melee and milgrain, and I couldn't be happier. It's the ring I've always wanted.

I feel the same way, I'm in the mindset right now that just over a carat looks good on my small fingers... but I'm sure I could get used to a larger diamond pretty fast
