Since I get up for work at 4 am, I usually need to be in bed between 8 and 9 pm. I always miss the good TV shows.

I am in bed by 9:15 the latest because I usually start falling asleep on the couch. I am up most days at 4:30-5 to get my workout in before I start the day.

I wake up at 5:15 for work, so I SHOULD be in bed and asleep by 10. For awhile it was closer to 11 and I was having a rough time. I've been pretty good about 10:30 lately, though, and my ability to get through the day has significantly improved. Sometimes I don't even *NEED* my after-lunch coffee! (That doesn't mean I don't still WANT it, though!)

When I was working (that sounds so weird to me the was part) I would get up usually before 5AM so I tried to be in bed by 9:30 or 10PM but usually didn't fall asleep till 11PM.

Nowadays you would think I could sleep as late as I want however I am up now usually by 3 AM and unable to fall back asleep so I am still trying to get to bed by 9:30 PM but not having much success in sleeping more than 4 hours a night. Hoping to resolve this issue soon. I would love to be able to go to sleep at 11PM and stay asleep till 7AM. That feels much more civilized to me and in an ideal world that would be my preference.

It's amazing how much better one feels after a good night's sleep!

TIVO your favorite shows! No need to watch them in real time these days. So much better without the commercials too. :appl:

I am naturally an owl, and seldom go to bed much before 01:00h and wake up around 08:00h, regardless of season, even when camping in a tent!

I struggle with working the earlier shifts, and often swap them for the later shifts with my colleagues who are larks.

I joined a gym close to home recently, and the main factor for choosing this gym is that it is open 24h a day, and can go there after 22:00h, so that I can have some chill out time at home with the pets first after working a late shift.

11 ish.

I am a single full time working mom, so I get up at 6 to get ready, get my toddler ready for daycare and rush out the door to make a 7:30 train.

Missy - I've been having some trouble sleeping lately too. I've been trying some meditations to help me fall back asleep. I'm not sure that I've found the ideal meditations for me, but I have found some that are better than others. I was trying to find some on youtube, but was disturbed by a lot of the odd background music. I will look up the link for one that I found on my phone, which I keep by my bed, and can just play very quietly next to me. http://www.meditationoasis.com/podcast/listen-to-podcast/ I don't even have the app . . . I just go to the website on my phone and click on a meditation. Hope this helps.

Currently I turn in at 12.30a and get up at 7.30a.

I'm following my husband's hours, as I'm not working now. He works from home and doesn't need to be "at" work until 9a so he goes in at 12.30a and gets up at 8.30a (he needs more sleep than me). I get up at 7.30a so I can walk the dog and have the coffee done by the time he's ready for breakfast.

When I was working, I went in at 11.30a and got up at 6.15a.
The other day, I went on my first interview since the move South (I'm finally done fixing up the house!) and it seemed like a good match so hopefully I can get back to my own hours (I prefer to go to bed a little earlier and get up earlier - it's hot walking the dog, even at 8a).

I've been reading lately that the ideal amount of sleep is 7.5 hours but I can't sleep more than 7 unless I've been running around all day.

I usually go to bed around 11:00 pm and get up around 7:00 am. When I was working I was always up at 4:00 am and in bed by 9:00 pm. That is one aspect of working that I do not miss at all.

If I'm working the next day, I like to be *in bed* by 10:00 and hopefully *asleep* by 11:00-ish. On other nights, I will stay up as long as I want... usually 11:30-1 AM, depending...

I'm not a night owl. I'm usually in bed by 9-10, either reading or watching something. During the summer when I'm not working, I might stay up *really* late, like 'til 11:00.

9-10. I have 4 kids so I feel pretty darn tired by 8-9. My 11 month old is teething and gets up at least once per night.

I get up between 5-5:30am for work M-F, so I'm in bed by 9:30pm. On weekends it depends on if DH has a show. If he does, I don't get to bed until 2-3:00am. :shifty: If not, I'm usually in bed by 11:00pm.

b/t 1:30-2:30 am, but some days I'll be up by 6:30 am when the stock market opens then I'll take a 2 hr nap from 9-11 am before I go to lunch at noon with friends. A nice long sleep for me would be from 2:00 am-11:00 am.. :snore:

My lights off, go to sleep time is 9:30. I really like to be in bed and either reading or watching TV by 8:30. I get up at 4:45. Or at least that's when the alarm goes off.

Weekends I stay up until 11 or so but sometimes I fall asleep at the normal time anyway.
