My fiancé and I have been meaning to post this testimonial for a while, but life got busy (as it always does!). We just wanted to share our experience with the custom work Wink did for us using the absolutely gorgeous Crafted by Infinity stone we purchased in December of last year. It took Amanda quite a while to figure out exactly what she wanted. Melissa and Wink were so very patient with us as we worked through various ideas and designs. Finally, Amanda found a setting she fell in love with. Of course, it had to be a Tiffany's ring!
She downloaded the Tiffany's app and was even able to create an image with the virtual "Try on the Ring" feature so she could see what it would look like on her finger.
She was dead-set on this design and the proportions, really liked the unique square step cut diamonds, and loved the dramatic widening of the shank towards the center stone.
We got a quote from Wink to have the setting made in platinum and were sad to decide that it was just out of our price range. We began looking at other options. We contacted a local jeweler who was confident he could produce the ring. Unfortunately, when we got the CAD, we were greatly disappointed. It just simply lacked that "wow' factor and minor details that made the Tiffany's ring so special to Amanda. We came across Mark Broumand's website and the following design, which was very close to what we wanted. http://www.markbroumand.com/235ct-round-brilliant-cut-diamond-engagement-ring__2463-1d10467110/ We contacted Mark Broumand, and he was very pleasant. He was certain he could produce a quality piece for us, and the price was right.
We talked to Wink and told him we'd decided to go with Mark Broumand. Wink asked for a bit more information and soon got back to us, stating that he was sure Winfield's could make the ring that we wanted at the right price. He explained to us the slight differences between his bench's design and the Mark Broumand design. While the Mark Broumand piece was beautiful, Wink convinced us that his end-result would be more along the lines of what we wanted. He was so wonderful about working with us on pricing. In the end, we agreed to have Wink and his team complete the job at a price that we both felt was fair and reasonable.
From making small changes to the CAD to the minor "freak-outs" Amanda had throughout the whole process (it can be scary to spend a good deal of money on something you've never seen before in real life!), Wink was so patient and incredibly understanding. He responded to our many emails and calls and addressed all concerns. It was easy to see that we were in good hands, and soon enough, we realized that there was nothing to worry about.
We absolutely could not be happier with the finished product. Amanda LOVES her ring and has gotten so many compliments on its classic design. It's very unique, and the diamond itself is indescribable. We literally have had people tell us that it is the most "sparkly" and "absolutely gorgeous" diamond they've ever seen. We have to agree.
The superior quality of the product we received from Wink and his team is more than we ever imagined. After looking at rings in mall jewelry stores, we are so happy we decided to do a custom design through Winfield's. We cannot say enough good things about Wink and his team. Thank you, Winfield's!!!
