Temporary setting advice

I have a 1 ct round engagement diamond that I have never set. I was thinking about switching to an oval but I think I will just set the round I have. Who has the nicest yet super cheap setting? The diamond is from GOG but I am totally open to other vendors, as well.

Also, should I get a local vendor to set it so I don't have to pay for shipping or should I have whomever I end up getting the diamond from set it?

Do you think I could find something for $200 or $300? I want a white gold solitaire and preferably a cathedral setting but I am not sure that's doable on a tiny budget. I wear a size 8.5 or 9 so a used setting might not work.

Stuller has a ton - I worked w Good Old Gold and got a very nice solitaire for under $300.
