Old cut experts, a disappearing partial fish eye?

I hate to start another thread on this diamond but this is a specific question about old cuts and fish eyes. The outline of my diamond is irregular. When I tilt it in one direction, I think I get a little fish eye issue. This only seems to be a problem when tilted in a certain direction, otherwise no fish eye. Is this common in old cuts?

I accept and love it for it's unique character, but would like to understand this occasional visual occurrence, for the sake of learning new things. I am putting up a picture that shows it at it's worst, and other pictures that don't show it at all. What am I seeing? Thanks in advance!

Fish eye is the reflection of the girdle inside the table facet due to shallow cut. The pavillion angle may be shallower on one side of the stone than the other. One of the experts will chime in as not sure if I am 100% correct.

Also a tilt fish eye is not as bad as a fisheye through the table face up.

Thanks Pyramid. The irregular cut would explain the occasional appearance. Posting a couple bigger close ups if that will help. 20140627_17134399999999999999999.jpg

That's good. I did sort of fall in love with it's wonkiness, so I am fine with living with what I have. I do love the stone anyhow, but was curious about the off and on appearance.
