I just received this for my birthday...my husband knows my obsession with everything retro-bling; & he was so very sneaky in acquiring it!! I had no idea he had arranged for this watch...I am in love with it! It's a vintage Omega, keeps great time with its original movement; is constructed entirely of 900 platinum & has 2 & 1/4CT of E/F color, VVS clarity diamonds, both full and single cut. He even had it appraised prior to gifting it to me so that I could mill over the details, haha.

Happy to share mine: A Cartier Tank Américaine - a 40th birthday gift to myself 3 years ago I love it and I wear it almost everyday. It's thin, sleek and the slight curve fits my tiny wrist comfortably. I hope to be able to add a classic Solo Tank in yellow gold to my little collection of treasures one day...

I debated about how to define what a luxury watch is, since there are entry level ones all the way up to very rare and expensive watches! So we'll include the full range here! For the purpose of this thread, we'll say that a retail price/value of $2000 and up will qualify (knowing that true watch aficionados are probably rolling their eyes! ).

Finally took a picture of mine, missing though is my Cartier black face 18k Tank, an oldie from the 80's but a goodie...

The smaller Rolex was a birthday present, (we could be twins MGR!) a 26mm stainless/gold with diamond markers on a white faced dial.

The 2nd, was a just because, we were out one day & stopped in, he got the Rolex stainless black faced submariner & I the 31mm Datejust stainless with a MOP diamond dial & diamond bezel. That was quite a fun day, very uncharacteristic of us to do something like that.

Lovelovelove your mid-sized Rolex! The stainless with the MOP and diamond dial is so eyecatching and classic.
I have a 31mm Rolex as well and I think the size is great.. oversized but not huge.
