I won a design award with this little Echidna (Aussie marsupial spinny ant eater).
We had a brain storming session with all staff at a pizza place, with clipboards, erasers, sketching stuff for everyone.
We were passing around a random word, somone said Flora, then next - Fauna and I was thinking about a champagen diamond entry and bang, use the diamonds upside down. They look splintery and just like the spines on the real McCoy.

Gary, what a cool piece. Our family visited Oz last summer and my eldest girl fell in love with the echidnas-more than the roos and tassy devils! You really captured the little critters! Too bad she did not take home your pendant rather than the stuffed version!

Hello Pricescope Community!!
I just couldn’t resist the chance to get to share with you my favorite piece of jewelry. Although I am usually a behind the scenes kind of guy, I have had the pleasure of meeting a few of you both at the PS GTG and in our facility when you have visited us there. I was gifted a beautiful 0.428ct G SI1 A CUT ABOVE Hearts and Arrows Diamond for my 5th year of being a Whiteflash employee back in 2010. I proudly constructed a wonderful custom white gold heart pendant to hold the ACA diamond which I presented to my lovely wife. It also holds two smaller hearts, one in white gold and one in yellow as representation of our two darling children. It is a cherish token of affection that we all enjoy seeing my wife wear.

Thank you for the opportunity to share in this fun thread. I am looking forward to seeing what pieces other Trade members hold dear.

This Beautiful GIA Fancy Brown Yellow 2.86 Oval GIA # 2155891493 is our favorite piece at the moment. It's in a platinum ID Jewelry handmade setting with 18KT yellow gold plating. The small pave diamonds are 0.46ctw FG color VS clarity.

This was one of my entries into AGTA Cutting Edge in 2008 (as a loose gem). 32.77ct Morganite in a classic Asscher-style emerald cut. The recipient of the piece was a two-time breast cancer survivor and she wanted this Morganite to memorialize her experience. Peter & Co jewelers in Avon Lake Ohio created the jewelry design for their client. As a finished piece it won an award through the IJO buying organization during their annual competition.
