Medium Blue Fluorescence

Ring:
-Platinum
-Additional 1.31 carats of pave diamonds on the ring
-4 triangular rose cut sapphires
-Hand engraving on the sides of the ring

Jagamac, your ring is amazing and one of a kind. Did your fiancé pick this out all by himself?? If he did, he has truly outdone himself - he obviously knows quality when he sees it. Congratulations on your engagement!

My fiancé worked with a jeweler to create the design based on a set of photos I had shown him of elements that I like. He has stated several times that he would never have been able to come up with such a beautiful design without help. After the 8 final designs were selected, he did get input from my mother, sister, and friends to narrow it down to this design.

He ultimately wanted to end up with a ring I'd be crazy about (which I am of course!), and that it was of a quality that it could be passed down to our children, grandchildren, etc. someday.

Hello all! Long time admirer of the site and now I can post! After DH and I got engaged we had a lot of stuff come up before the wedding including the wedding, surgery and buying a house...all in a 3 month period. So we decided to sell my ring and get a cz (didn't want family to know) as a replacement. Well, 3.5 years after getting married, and a little baby later, I got the surprise of my life when I got a new diamond for Christmas! We got a new setting too it's not perfect, but I love it! 1.99 center ct, 2.75 total ct, G color, I1, cut, polish, symmetry all very good.

Middle: bead set diamond band, with 7 or 8 pointers

Bottom: Duet halo from Blue Nile in Platinum with a 0.77 J VS1 GIA 3ex center stone

I thought I would add my updated engagement ring. Details are as follows:
Centre oval diamond
0.96ct
F colour
VS2 clarity
Melee diamonds are F colour
Pink pear diamonds
0.165 tcw
7P colour
SI1 clarity
Melee diamonds are 6P in colour.
It certainly has provided me with awesome finger coverage! Size 4 finger also helps with that. Hope you enjoy! I know I am certainly enjoying my new ring and can't stop looking at it!
