ohmygosh. I am so sorry, I am so late. I cant believe what a whirlwind the last few days has been!

So here's the story:

On August 19th, 2013, my best friend asked me to marry him! We were in Wisconsin Dells on a mini-vacation. Our day was spent at a water park and we had a blast (water-parks are his favorite )! We went out for dinner at a fun restaurant near our hotel, and then we played 2 rounds of mini golf at Pirate’s Cove- He won the first, I won the second! When we got back to the hotel, we had some wine and as we were snuggling in bed he told me that I was perfect for him and that he thinks that we are perfect together and he pulled out the ring and asked me to marry him. It was low-key and wonderful! Exactly what I had hoped for and such a nice surprise!

Girls! I literally had no idea. We had this trip planned for a bit. We went there exactly 2 years ago as our first getaway and exchanged 'I love yous' and had the best time. He even psyched me out a few weeks ago by asking me to pack an overnight bag. Anyway, I am so glad I let him surprise me.

By the time we had our moment, it was very late at night so we just waited until the next afternoon and our drive home to make phone calls. It was so much fun to tell our family- his mom cried, his grandma was shouting, "T is engaged!!, T is engaged!!" My parents were thrilled. My daughter is very excited to wear a fancy dress!
