It arrived today, too late in the day to really enjoy it. The pearl is beyond magnificent. The colors are phenomenal, the luster outstanding. It isn't as large as I was expecting. It's exactly as listed, don't get me wrong-I just had in my head that it would be larger.

I'm glad it's as light as it is given the delicateness of the chain. Anything heavier would be problematic.

I'll be able to post more thoughts tomorrow, after I see it in all of it's splendor and glory.

PP did a great job with this one. It's a stunner.

Mrs. Taylor -- It is really beautiful. The colors displayed are incredible. How can these large, colorful, metallic souffle clouds be pearls? It boggles the mind. BTW, I also thought it would be larger from the picture. It's so hard to imagine what Xmm will look like in real life -- even if you look on a mm ruler.

Exactly. I'm always shocked at how small my pearls are when I get them. lol. I should start imagining they're all 6.5mm and be pleasantly suprised each time!

I thought it would be bigger too but I didn't look closely at the website description for the measurement. But the colors are amazing. Your pictures show the variations in different angles and are nicer than vendor picture. Such a unique piece, not your typical round pearls or baroque shapes either.

Yes, it looked bigger on the PP photo-- because the necklace/bust display it is photographed on is smaller than a real neck.

These necklace displays tend to make pearl strands look larger than they are as well.

You guys have me cracking up. Yes, it's a bathrobe. A ankle length robe-nothing naughty! The matching nightie is also ankle length..I swear! I have two that I adore and this is one. I feel decadent wearing it around the house. ESPECIALLY with pearls!

My other is a deep sapphire blue floor length silk gown. I feel like royalty in it. Dh thinks it just looks silly. He says I look like I'm in a choir robe. But I do not care. I love it!
