I really really need to stop looking on ebay for antique rings...

I got this one as I thought it was so unique the way the pearls were mounted. It's in mail, coming from England so I don't have it in hand just yet. I don't know what the metal is and the seller didn't know much about the ring. I'm now second guessing my purchase...

Does anyone have any ideas on what period this ring might be from or any information?

I'm guessing Georgian, but I have no merit with which to back it up...

Hi,
I think this is Austro Hungarian maybe in silver? Possibly form the victorian times. Mid to late 1800's. I am also not sure, but it does look like the pieces of Austro Hungarian jewelry that I've seen at the antique shows. You could research Austro Hungarian jewelry. Hope this helps.
