Blue/green tourmaline. What do u think?

I am very new to colored gems. I love the color of this tourmaline... thinking would look nice in a rose or yellow gold pendant.

What are your thoughts of this stone? Can't afford a true paraiba...

My guess is that is going to be dark and more green IRL - kinda like the 4 and 8 o'clock positions on that photo.

I agree, it will most likely be darker in person, but I bet you'll get a lot of nice teal flashes from it. I really like that stone.

They will. They're pretty quick about responding too.

2 cautions:
1. AJS's photography amps up the saturation a notch so do not expect the stone to look as saturated in person.
2. AJS used to provide additional pictures but no longer does so. It is worth asking though. I've seen them turn such requests down on stones that cost $1000 and upwards. It is unlikely that they will do so on a $300 stone. Just a time vs cost analysis.

It would be one amazing stone if it looked like the photo. I too love the color in their pic!
