Hi everyone,

I'm looking for a new ring and need some help to decide.

First of all, I live in a country where engagement rings are not common; people here just wear a plain gold band.
Therefore, it wouldn't scream "engagement" if I wore a solitaire ring.

My two choices:

Tiffany Enchant Flower:

Tiffany Setting (around 1.5 carat):

I know I can save money by buying elsewhere and there's a large price gap between the two rings, but that's not what matters.

I would like to wear either of the rings on its own and sometimes stack it with a small eternity band, depending on what I feel like.

Considering this is not meant as an engagement ring, and I'd like to wear the ring everyday, which design do you think is prettier?
I don't want to get bored with the ring or find that it's impractical for everyday wear.

TIA! :)

The solitare screams engagment ring to me no matter what you stack it with. The enchant ring is more non-engagement-y.

However I would not spend 21k on a solitare either from Tiffs. Just my .02.

I'll be honest I don't get the price difference, and if it has to be Tiffany's there are a few others I like too, BUT of the two I'd rather buy the flower and spend the money for the solitaire elsewhere

Thanks for all your answers!

I wouldn't be concerned by the fact that the solitaire screams "engagement". But I do worry that a simple solitaire ring (whether Tiffany's or not) would be too plain for everyday wear?

I agree.

And there are other Tiffany rings that I like better than the enchant one. Like this for a similar style:

or one of their many pretty diamond bands

I saw that Garden Flower ring (first link) the other day in person and it's so pretty! I would choose that over the other flower ring the OP posted.

+1 vote for the enchant: if people don't often wear engagement rings where you live an ering would be even more noticed !

Can you see right through the RG diamonds? Is the ring very sparkly?

Seriously... if your budget is such that the engagement ring is an option, then why limit yourself to these two options?

ETA the "enchant" is a very sweet ring and I'm sure it looks beautiful on. To me, it looks like a young woman's ring, something I'd "grow out of" eventually... but I realize that "people vary" and that might not be a concern for someone else.
