Hip Sneakers for Bad Back

Hello old friends,

Seems I've herniated a disc in my back ... and the doctor is telling me I need to wear squishy shoes all the time. Even around the house. Well I'm the worst at picking out cool sneakers so I was wondering if you stylish ladies have any suggestions.

Ideally I'd love at least one pair that slips on - for around the house - so I don't have to tie/untie everytime I want to put my feet up onto upolstered things.

And they have to be HIP. I'm working in a competitive environment where style matters. Ortho -- just say no!

I'm considering getting a pair of Dansko clogs (even though I've been trying not to - as they scream suburbia & not big city media job). But am open to any & all suggestions!

I like black and white Pumas. You should be able to find them at Nordstroms. In general, they have nice casual-wear sneakers there.
