Just a quick question.
I've ordered 3 pairs of earrings from Hawaii (off Etsy). Does anyone know what are reasonable shipping costs to Canada?
See the total amount came to just under $300, and I've not ordered from this vendor or Hawaii before, so I requested insurance.
The vendor went ahead and sent me a paypal invoice before she had gotten info about insurance (something about third party insurance, although was is wrong with postal insurance?). She sent an email explaining that her cost for sending (and insuring I think, although her emails are rather difficult to understand) the parcel are well above the $3 amount she allotted (frankly, I myself thought that seemed ridiculously low).
So what is a reasonable amount? I think it sounds reasonable and am about to offer to pay the additional costs (which only seems fair), but I want to make sure this isn't some way to pad the cost of the items.
