Tucson Hotel Recommendations?

My son and I will be in the Tucson area for a few days right around Christmas (close to Tombstone). Does anyone have any recommendations for a nice place to stay? My teenage son thinks Holiday Inn Express is the best place on the planet I wouldn't mind a place with a little more style and amenities - anyone have recommendations? TIA

I'm in Tucson, but the last time I stayed in a hotel was 14yrs ago! Stay away from Miracle Mile Hotels (Miracle Mile is a street name) and from South Tucson. The Hyatt Regency is nice, however it's not near Tombstone. Hopefully this helps! Wish I could give more advice....

I would check tripadvisor. I have had good luck with Tripadvisor; you can narrow it down to exact areas you want to stay, see pictures of the hotels posted by fellow travelers.
