I just purchased a two tone engagement ring from a local jeweler. He said he obtained it from an estate, but not very sure about it's origin, possibly from the 40s. The head is made of 14k white gold, originally with a .6 round brilliant diamond, which i replaced with a similar size cushion diamond. The shank is made of 14k yellow gold. It has 5 small round diamonds on each side of the split shank. I have attached a picture as best as I could, and I could upload a few more if it helps. I just hope to get more history on this ring before I present it to my gf.
