I'm looking at one... It's advertised as .55ct, 5.5 mm oec, vs and kl. it's in an 18k setting... Are diamonds of that color range really undesirable? Does KL mean its probably M or N?
Thanks for any advice! They are asking $1400ish. Seems high to me?

Totally embarrassed to say that I have! I actually bought ANOTHER tiny ring... A Jabel with a .40ct center and channel set side stones... Now have to decide what to keep! But I still want a bigger one! There's actually a good comparison on DB this morning.

Prices for these stones can run from a steal to retail. It depends on the find. The K-L (and warmer) range is actually a common and sought after color for antique cuts. The closer to colorless, the more rare, the price starts to go up.
I love the near colorless range (K,L,M) on old cut stones.
Hopefully, the others will chime in on value for you.
