According to the CPAA Japanese "Japanese Akoya cultured pearls" is an industry accepted description to define Akoya pearls grown in Japan and "are the most lustrous of all pearls found anywhere in the world."
There has been a lot of talk on the internet about Japanese Akoya Cultured Pearls in forums and e-commerce websites.
We wanted to clarify what Japanese Akoya Cultured Pearls mean and what consumers can expect to get if they purchase them.
According to the Cultured Pearl Association of America (CPAA), Japanese Akoya Cultured pearls "are the classic cultured pearls of Japan.
