Hi, Trying to decide between the two round brilliant diamonds, please help.

1.38 7.20-7.24 x 4.40 HCA score .9 H VS1 AGS000

1.56 7.40-7.49 x 4.61 HCA score 3.4 I VS2 AGS1

The 1.56 is desirable to me because I''d really love to hit the 1.50 carat mark. Obviously the 1.38 is cut better & scores better on the HCA. Will there be a visible difference between the two or are we splitting hairs again between an AGS000 & AGS1 ?

What is the price difference? Not even knowing that, I like the first stone because of the cut and the thin-med girdle. That said, I don''t think you could go wrong with either stone if they both sparkle. Have you seen them in person? It''s difficult to buy strictly off the numbers on a piece of paper. But I believe you already know that.

Good luck with your decision.

The 1.56 I VS2 costs $1200.00 more than the 1.38 H VS1.
In person I noticed the size difference immediately. They both had sparkle, although I can''t recall if one sparkled more than the other, at that time I was more interested in looking for the difference in color.

Find an H-I SI1 or VS2 1.5ct.

when they are dirty you would not pick the larger stone

Let me get this straight, the diamond with the .9 HCA will look better than the 3.4 HCA when it is dirty?
