Has anyone seen a band similar to this by another designer other than Leon? I love it, but it will only be a temp wb and don't really want to pay the premium if I could find something similar and less costly through another vendor. so yeah I'm sorta looking for a cheap way out!

I knew a PSer would find it for me! Yah! :appl: I went to Shane.com and found this

Does anyone here have experience with this company and the quality of their products? I know that I can't have it both ways, inexpensive and high quality, but I certainly don't want a stone to fall out immediatly. Thanks for any input!

Simon G makes something similar. I have the band shown in this wedding set:

It is nice, but much bulkier than I imagine the Leon would be. I have a Leon Solitaire and the Simon G. is my wedding band. The profile of the band sits a little higher than I would like, when compared to my Leon, which is set super low. I wish Leon would have been making these back when I was looking!

The band that sparked my interest in this style was a Zale's ring, they called it the pretzel band and it was around $500. I looked and I can't find it anymore, they had it back in 2008. If it will only be a temporary ring the Shane Co. ring might do the trick, hopefully you live close to a store and can see the ring in person! I haven’t purchased anything from Shane Co., but I assume the quality would be similar to what you would find in most of the mall type stores. If you are looking for something with a little higher quality the Simon G might be a good mid-priced option. I know when I was looking there were a lot of antique/estate dealers that had similar bands as well, so you might want to check that out.

You are all so helpful! :appl: I really like how the Simon G bands actually cross each other! Can you tell me do your rings sit flush? If not is there a large space beween the two? I have a pave setting and was hoping to put a band on either side but want them to be as close to flush as possible.

You are all so great thank you!!!!

My rings are pretty flush. I usually wear the rings so the e-ring 'donut' at the bottom of the basket sits where the wedding band dips in and crosses. The wedding band then sits flush with the e-ring band at the widest point of the criss-cross. Hopefully that makes sense! I can take pictures tonight if you have any questions. I do have a concern about the wedding band diamonds scratching my e-ring. I can see light scratches where this has happened on the basket portion of my ring. I think when my fingers move the rings slide against each other and sometimes the wedding band moves up and scratches the basket. I have started to wear a spacer band in between the e-ring and wedding band to prevent the wedding band from 'eating' away at the basket of my e-ring. My e-ring basket is really low and wide, this may not be an issue for you but it is something to consider. Sometimes I wish I had gotten something with metal alongside the diamonds, like this Beverley K. band:

There are a few pictures of my ring along with some info on a similar band by Kwiat in this thread:

I have a wedding band and pendant from Shance Co. The quality is decent, I haven't had a problem with either and I wear them a lot. I wouldn't get a center diamond from them, but their other jewelry isn't too bad and the prices are OK for a B&M.

Been thinking about what types of wedding bands to pair with the vatche swan. I've searched some threads here and have seen some options, but I'm thinking a helix band like this could be a great match, if its possible to line up one of the helical dips with the head of the ring... hmmmmm :)
