I don''t know anything about pears, but that looks very nice.

Does the red across the middle of the stone indicate that there would be very little bowtie effect in this stone?

Small, small bow-tie... all red (so no strong contrast in that area, all for the better). A liitle white (not bad) and some black spots announcing brilliance (and, I think, high dispersion or fire as well) in diect light.

Not much more one can ask for, if anything

Ana, this is the same one you compared (from measurments I gave ) side to side pic''s to a 1 carat for me in a previous post not long ago.
