I posted an earlier thread about my platinum ring having lots of gold soder in it. I need to get a nondesctructive assay test on the metal to see what it really is and if I have any rights to recover from the jeweler who sold it to me. I''ve not been able to find a place in Chicago yet - anyone have any suggestions? It needs to be a non-jeweler - someone who does not have an interest in selling me another ring or redoing the setting on this one. Any suggestions would help. Thank you!
