beautiful lab diamond over a carat does now exist

Likely someone has posted this in more complete detail but I saw that GIA has identified a lab created diamond with good clarity and color over one carat. Best regards, Lee

A CVD diamond made by Apollo was submitted to GIA earlier this year. It was a 1.05ct pear G color I1 clarity and measured 9.81x5.95x3.06mm. The issue with CVD has always been the thickness, since CVD diamonds grows in layers. You can see this is a shallow pear, and had it been cut into a round brilliant, it would have probably only weighed 1/2ct or so, which is in Apollo's normal range.
