Someone just posted a divine ring by michael b with
the thin pave band. I have just purchased a 3.05ct
hearts and arrows D SI1 ideal cut brilliant cut and
am looking for a thin diamond band to compliment this
beautiful stone. Can someone post michael b''s website
address and also any ideas for setting my diamond as
above. I was thinking of prong set with maybe 06 then
08 then .10 diamonds on either side with the .06 being
closest to the 3.05ct so that the band graduates out
from the centre. What do you think? Any other ideas
gratefully accepted. Also wanted the basket to made so
that it would sit flush against the wedding band with no
gap.

MB's website is www.michaelbjewelry.com, but it has been down recently. In any event, he does not really post detailed pictures of his settings, nor does he permit his vendors to do so. The best sites to check out for his stuff are www.solomonbrothers.com and www.pearlmansjewelers.com. Bridal magazines also usually have MB ads.

I am 100% in agreement with your taste--his stuff is to die for. I don't know if you would be interested in a setting with a pave bezel, but if so I posted a picture of his newest ring a few days ago. I am in love with it. Search "Michael B. Flower Ring" if you would like to see it.

Hi Satelite,
The settings at www.precisionset.com are designed to sit flush against the wedding band. You can order the setting through Goodoldgold as well. I have my engagement ring set in a precision set style very similar to what you have in mind and I am very happy with it. The quality is excellent and so is the price. I will post a picture of my ring later today.

I opted for smaller, 1-2pt melee stones but this style comes with larger stones as well.

Leila your ring is beautiful and along the lines of
what I am looking for. Though I will have it claw
set with no rim of platinum if you know what I mean.
Reena thanks for the info on the web address. i have
been salivating at all the gorgeous settings I've found.
Had a meeting with my jeweller on Friday and we are going
to go with the .06 .08 .10 on either side graduating out
so will keep you posted with outcome.
Sorry to take so long to reply have been away for the
weekend.
Any other basket ideas for such a graduated look would
be appreciated.

Hello,
I have two Michael B. 3-sided micro pave eternity bands (both size 8) that were purchased from an authorized Michael B. retailer that I will be selling very soon. Let me know if you are interested.
