...and as it appears to be the tradition here want to thank everybody for their help and advice AND post a photo....

My question: What lighting do you use for the fine photos that are published on this board? Flash, no flash? incandescent lighting, halogen?

I have a digital camera witha macro setting and know how to use the computer...I just don''t know how to get the shots that show the sparkle!!!

Please advise. As always, thanks.

Try a well-lit room or indirect sunlight. Adjust your white balance accordingly. No flash. You can also put your loupe or a magnifying glass up to the lens to bring it into sharper focus. Hope this helps.
