Selling a diamond band

I have a brand new full eternity diamond band that I am looking to sell, where/how do you think I should go about selling this to ensure I try and receive the most value? I don''t what would be the best; local jeweler, ebay, etc.?

I''m interested to see what other''s say. I asked my jeweler and this was his advice:

1. Ebay or Craig''s List will get you the most money.
2. Pawn Shops and jewelers are inundated with 2nd hand jewelry during tough economic times so they don''t give you best price.
3. Accept only Paypal or cold hard cash.
4. If buyer is paying cash meet them at your jewelers. It is a public place, jeweler can verify the stats to your buyers, and they can check for counterfeit bills.
