Deciding to have more children...what goes into your decision?

Our children are 9 years apart, by choice. Tuition was a major consideration. To have the means to educate more than one child at a time requires a lot of after taxable income.

Ditto - I forgot to mention this. DH & I decided to pay for the undergrad college tuitions of both of our kids (as our parents did for us) so I was hoping to have only one year or less of overlap in paying tuitions. Besides private preschool, we plan to use public schools until they go to college.
